Presenting archival photos featured in her weekly “Then and Now” column, Telegram & Gazette columnist Melissa McKeon brings to life Worcester’s 19th century industrial boom and the explosion of growth and prosperity that shaped the city as we know it today. Learn about some of the many buildings that were part of that boom and discover a bit about their history.
Hear how the “Then and Now” column is prepared and learn about some interesting discoveries made along the way. For this segment of the presentation, Ms. McKeon will be joined by freelance photographer Paul Kapetyn, who is responsible for the column’s “Now” photographs.
