This documentary film tells the story of Jane Week’s namesake, Jane Jacobs –  journalist, mother, urban theorist and activist.  She fought the orthodox city planing rules of Robert Moses and harnessed people power to save the soul of New York City in the 1960s by focusing on the role that diversity and the built environment play in creating vibrant urban communities.  View the film then join in an interactive discussion focused on the work of Jane Jacobs and its lessons for Worcester today.
