Neighborly Newton, An Illustrated Talk: Coming in Spring 2018

THIS EVENT WILL BE SCHEDULED FOR SPRING 2018.  DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

Join Preservation Worcester docent, Chair of the Worcester Historical Commission, and Worcester resident, Andrew Shveda for this illustrated talk about the 1920’s O’Connell Real Estate neighborhood know as Neighborly Newton. Discover a little-known community rich in history, from its developers to its architects and builders, down to past and present residents. This talk augments last June’s tour of the neighborhood pictured above.

This is the final talk in a series that highlights a real estate developer who, during the first half of the 20th century, built some of Worcester’s most notable residential subdivisions.
