and help Preservation Worcester save an historic place!!
Each year Preservation Worcester presents a list of the city’s most threatened historic places. Designation as one of WORCESTER’S MOST ENDANGERED provides threatened historic places with public recognition of their importance and helps to prompt their preservation and restoration.
What to nominate:
• Pre-1958 structures located in Worcester and significant for their historic, architectural and/or cultural contributions.
• Structures that are threatened by neglect, demolition, alteration, deterioration, and/or type of use.
• Any structure, including residential, commercial, industrial or institutional buildings, bridges, monuments, parks, burial grounds – even city blocks or a particular type of building.
Nominations for the 2008 List will be accepted through January 15, 2008.
