About the Event

Join us for a behind-the-scenes look inside the historic Beacon Street Firehouse located at 108 Beacon Street.

Built to serve Worcester’s growing Beacon Street neighborhood, the firehouse is a reminder of an era when neighborhood fire stations were an important part of daily community life. Beyond its architectural character, the building tells the story of Worcester’s changing fire service and the firefighters who protected the surrounding neighborhood.

During this exclusive experience, you’ll have the opportunity to step inside a firehouse that is rarely open to the public, explore its architectural details and working spaces, and hear stories about its history and role in the community.

Each guided tour lasts approximately 30 minutes and is limited to 20 guests.

Tours begin outside the firehouse on Beacon Street. During this exclusive experience, you’ll explore the firehouse’s architecture, historic features, and remarkable history.
