A class of up to 5 students taught by our preservation carpentry expert, Larry Haleylearn basic woodworking skills, understand historic buildings, and get construction business training in preservation carpentry.

Course Length: 14 weeks, 6 hours per week

Meets: Mondays 6pm-9pm and Saturdays 9am-12pm

Location: Salisbury Building Arts Center workshop, 61 Harvard St

Tuition: FREE

​Capacity: 5 students per session

Hand tools and power tools provided

The curriculum is based upon work on historic buildings in Worcester. Projects will mostly take place in the Salisbury Building Arts Center workshop, along with projects outside of the shop in other sites in Worcester. OSHA certified safety training will be provided.
