About the Event

At the turn of the twentieth century, the Beaver Brook neighborhood on Worcester’s west side housed one of the city’s most ethnically and racially diverse populations as well as some of Worcester’s most prominent industries, including the massive Harrington & Richardson armaments company. Today vacant lots and big-box stores dominate much of what was once the heart of this vital, working-class neighborhood.

This event is graciously funded by Mass Humanities.
