About the Event
The 29th Annual Manhattan Short Film Festival screens the top 10 short films from over 800 entries from 74 countries, shown at over 500 venues across the world in a one week period. The finalist films represent Australia, Cuba, Georgia, Ireland, Mexico, Moldova, Russia, South Africa, the UK, and the US. Each film, by screening in this festival, becomes Oscar eligible.
At the end of the night, the audience will get to cast their votes to decide the winners of the festival: Best Short Film and Best Actor. Votes will be tallied from all worldwide venues to announce the winners on October 5 at ManhattanShort.com.
