Tracing Colonial Worcester Booklet
In recognition of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, Preservation Worcester has compiled a printed booklet of 26 structures, landmarks, and monuments located throughout Worcester that date to the colonial period. Each page includes a recent photo of the site, an archival historical photo, and a description of its historical importance. It ends with a map of all of the sites and a QR code that will open it in google maps on your phone, making it easy to get directions to see each site in person. We hope this booklet brings those places to life, offering both an engaging and educational experience for readers of all ages. May you enjoy discovering – and visiting – these historic sites as much as we enjoyed assembling this guide.
Note
This is a physical booklet. A digital version that can be printed at home or viewed on a device is also for sale in our gift shop.
