Tracing Colonial Worcester Digital Version
In recognition of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, Preservation Worcester has compiled PDF tour of 26 structures, landmarks, and monuments located throughout Worcester that date to the colonial period. Each page includes a recent photo of the site, an archival historical photo, and a description of its historical importance. It ends with a map of all of the sites and a QR code that will open it in google maps on your phone, making it easy to get directions to see each site in person. This booklet can be downloaded and viewed on a computer, phone, or tablet, or printed for a paper copy. We hope this tour brings those places to life, offering both an engaging and educational experience for readers of all ages. May you enjoy discovering – and visiting – these historic sites as much as we enjoyed assembling this guide.
