Rural Remains is a theatrical event that brings history to life with costumed actors, lantern lit paths, and true tales from Worcester’s past set in historic Rural Cemetery. Attendees will hear the fascinating stories of notable Worcester leaders interred there as they are guided to multiple different grave sites by flashlight.

Tours last about an hour and require 1 mile of walking in the dark by flashlight. The material is not recommended for children under 13 years of age.
Rural Remains Inside
October 29, only at 7:30pm
This version of the program takes place inside the Ellen Rogers-Kennedy Chapel at the entrance of Rural Cemetery. Costumed actors bring to life the Worcester residents of history buried in Rural Cemetery for a seated audience. Accessible for those with mobility limitations. Also not recommended for children under 13 years of age. One time slot only.
